The Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) is one of the largest Christian denominations in the U.S., with nearly 3.3 million members across more than 8,900 worshiping communities. With a strong commitment to service and outreach, the ELCA understands the value of impactful design in supporting its mission and connecting with both its membership and a wider audience.
I worked with the ELCA to design their Good Gifts Catalog—a 24-page, full-color, 8.5" x 11" self-mailer publication distributed to their entire membership. The catalog offers meaningful gift-giving opportunities that support people in need around the world. To tailor the messaging for seasonal relevance, we produced two distinct covers (a general version and a Christmas edition) for the same interior content. This project required a thoughtful approach to layout, branding, and visual storytelling to clearly communicate the impact of each gift while staying true to the ELCA’s values.
